The 0.2μm pore-sized filter membrane provides an effective barrier against unwanted particles entering the system’s flow path. This reduces column clogging, increases column life, and increases system uptime.
For HPLC columns with chromatography media of 4 μm or more, a Verex filter vial with a 0.45 μm filter membrane is recommended.
